The Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos witnessed an influx of people from various fields of endeavour on the Friday, 24th of March, 2017 at the unveiling of The CEO’s Bible. It was also a day to commemorate the 45th birthday of one Nigeria’s finest and seasoned author and publisher, Azuh Arinze.
In attendance were: Onyeka Onwenu, Udeme Ufot, Pastor Anselm Madubuko, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, Olabisi Olatilo, Dakuku Peterson, Tunji Olugbodi some of them are featured in the new book.
In his welcome address, Udeme Ufot, the GMD of SO & U and the chairman of the occasion said Arinze deserves to be celebrated for his contribution to the development of journalism in Nigeria. “Azuh Arinze is a good man. At every opportunity, I get to attend functions organized by Azuh, I notice that there is always a consistency of attendance. Most importantly I believe we are all here to celebrate with Azuh because he is a good man”.
While reviewing the book, Tunji Olugbodi, the GMD of Verdant Zeal Advertising, extolled the author’s zeal.
“Azuh is a passionate journalist driven by purpose. The book which is in two volumes are conversations with top executives on starting, sustaining and standing out in business. The CEO’s bible is intended as a manual for practicing and a reference on how to get to the top and remain there.”
According to him, The CEO’s Bible is a book that aims to inspire young people in the society to achieve success in any aspect of their career. In two volumes, the books feature 90 interviews from top executives in different sectors who share stories about their success and failure.
Onyeka Onwenu, one of the legends in the music industry said it is important for everyone to have a copy of the book. “The CEO’s Bible is a bible for all aspiring CEOs. If you learn from other people’s mistakes and from their success; you can do better. It is a wonderful idea.”
Steve Babaeko, CEO of X3m Ideas said the book is a compendium of experiences of various CEOs and how they have been able to climb the ladder of success and stay there. “It is a guide book for every entrepreneur and for people who really want to succeed in their business. It is a fantastic idea and I am glad Azuh Arinze was able to put this together”.
