JEDEBB Consulting a firm specialised in training, has opened its new head office for business, Deborah Susan Etuk the CEO, has said.
The new office located at 8, Oladosu Street, 1st Floor, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria will be a one stop centre for corporate training solutions.
“At JEDEBB Consulting, we have a vision to offer professional services and proffer outstanding solutions in developing a business. We aim to make businesses succeed and we have been able to keep our partnership with several companies like Bank of Industry (BoI), Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), MTN Nigeria, and other corporate organisations,” explained Etuk.
Speaking at the formal opening of the new office, Etuk said JEDEBB Consulting was first considered a family business when it was registered on the 24th of July 2007 but now the brand is being repositioned. “On the 24th of July, 2017 our company clocked ten years. In January 2014 after I resigned from my workplace, I decided to move the JEDEBB Consulting out of the bag to the public in March 2014,” she explained.
According to her with the new rebranding, JEDEBB Consulting hopes to take the business of corporate training and empowerment to a new level. She explained that part of the rebranding process for JEDEBB is the unveiling of a new brand called JEDEBB Resources.
“What we are building is the brand JEDEBB and at some point, it will be like the Dangote of this time. JEDEBB Resources is a limited liability company and so it can reach out to a wider spectrum globally. We are focused on training, empowerment and impacting knowledge so thought we could upgrade JEDEBB Consulting to a limited liability; but there is no such provision in CAC. It is either you register a new company entirely or a similar brand. After sorting everything out with CAC, we were still able to maintain the name JEDEBB.”
Etuk who studied linguistics at the University of Calabar (UNICAL), said her organisation is focused on training staff in different organisations to enable them to achieve their organisational goals.
“Some of our training modules cover management, leadership and soft skills. We also run training on personal development; leadership and emotional intelligence. Our business cut across a wide spectrum of indigenous, national, international organisations who buy into our resources. It is basically training and man power development. We give people directions to go in their business.”
Finally, she said JEDEBB Resources aims to add to value to every business that signs up for their services. “We transitioned from mission for business success to adding value for optimal result. When you add value to your life, it means you are in the right path to fulfilling purpose. I don’t believe in doing things the normal way. How creative can you do a thing? Most people just open a business and think that ends it. However, that is not right because they need to add value to that business. There is a need to build yourself and be self-sufficient. The value I’m trying to create is to be self-sufficient.”
