Access Bank is once again putting its customers at the forefront of its operation with the recent launch of the Family Fortune Promo.

Already, winners are emerging in the promo weekly draw. On Tuesday, new winners were announced in the electronic draw which took place at the bank’s corporate head office, Victoria Island Lagos.

Speaking at the media unveiling of the new winners, Titi Osuntoki, executive director, Business Banking Division, Access Bank said the Family Savings Scheme is designed to encourage families to save together and enjoy exclusive privileges (Interest rates and family rewards) while they continue to enjoy the confidentiality of their banking relation and manage their accounts as unique individuals.

“On this account, we pay interest that is superior to what you get on a normal savings account. On a weekly basis, we have a random selection of winners from our Family Savings Promo. Customers who signed up for the scheme will have the opportunity to win life changing prizes,” she explained.

She said Ernest & Young will review the selection process in a bid to give credibility and add transparency to the process. “They will affirm the computerised process of selecting the winners while representatives of National Lottery and Consumer Protection Council are also involved in the process.”

Also, Ope Wemi-Jones, group head, Inclusive Banking explained that all savings accounts in the bank namely Premier Saving, Target Savings, Solo, Early Savers, Instant Savings Tier 1 and 2 and Evergreen are qualified for the promo.

She said the minimum qualifying balance of N150,000 is not required on each Family Member account as the minimum balance at the qualifying level of N150,000.00 is required as a cumulative balance across Family Members account. However, each account must maintain a minimum balance of N20,000 to qualify for the Family Fortune Promo.

While explaining how the process works Wemi-Jones said: “The same family I.D can be used by members of the family. A ticket will be generated once all members of the family sign up. If any member withdraws below the amount the family had indicate d that automatically disqualifies you. The essence is to encourage people to save as a family.”

At the event, Joseph Olajimiti and Edomobi Kelechi were announced winners of movie ticket and GOTV decoder respectively.
